This year's National Payroll Week artwork was created by Jorge Valdez, a self-taught artist based out of New York City. Jorge created the unique mosaic that symbolizes the partnership among essential government programs, America's workers and the payroll professionals who pay them. As a joint effort with the APA, the local chapter is active in recognizing all Payroll Professionals for the vital role they play in maintaining the smooth functioning of the payroll tax withholding system and for working effectively with federal, state, and local tax officials.
